Oops! You’re All Trans, Now!

Do you feel that? That stirring in your loins? You’ve just spontaneously become a trans person because the Blue Tsunami hit you. All the pregnant conservatives also spontaneously aborted their babies without warning. That’s what [conservatives] all think happened, right?

I wanted to wait until the elections were pretty much all called for before making a post about this (and the happenings of last week, which I will touch upon later). These elections present us with a benchmark and a resounding thought that we will not sit idly by as one man and his quest for power and money erodes our way of life.

It makes me so proud that so many people went out and voted against the current regime, and it fills me even with a modicum of hope for the future. Already, sitting Republicans are trying to distance themselves from MAGA in hopes of “working together with Democrats to resolve differences.” While I share their sentiment of working together, because that’s what our government is supposed to do in the first place, I do find myself hoping that our people become a little vindictive with their power.

As it stands, Steve Bannon already admitted that people in his party would be going to prison if they lost the midterms (https://www.instagram.com/reels/DfUzZT5ozc4/). I feel like the Senate and House should follow up on that. You know, make sure that Ol’ rosy-cheeked Steve gets a cushy cell at a Federal Pound-me-in-the-Ass Prison, like he predicted.

It shouldn’t be their primary concern, of course, but it needs to be done hastily. Like everyone else, I am sure you all are struggling with high gas prices and high cost of living as well. These should be the things we need to focus on, if the sitting conservatives haven’t already started to do so in a bid to go over Dear Leader’s head. Fix the economy, crush our enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of their women.

Wait, that’s Conan the Barbarian. My bad.

In other news: Guess who won the world series?!?

That’s right! My Milwaukee Brewers took it to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in five! My wife and I were going on vacation the day following game 4 and were so worried we’d have to spend half our time in seedy bars, trying to watch the last games of the series before the Brewers scraped out a win. But they did it on the first day of our vacation. We drove to Holbrook, Arizona and went to the Mesa Bar and Grill, where we missed only half an hour of gameplay. We were able to see all the amazing plays and the final out.

I’ve never been happier to be a displaced Wisconsinite in my life. This was a moment I’d dreamed of since I was a little kid. I’ve met some of the legends in the game (Molitor, Yount) and some of the lesser known players (Surhoff, Treblehorn, Vaughn, Gantner). The Moment Brice Turang threw that final groundout to first base felt like a “And I am all the Jedi/Milwaukee Brewers” moment.

Childhood dream fulfilled.

Better luck next season (if there isn’t a lockout) to all 29 other teams. The 2026 Brewers felt like a team of destiny and I couldn’t be prouder.
